Obituary of Scott Price-Butler

Scott Edward Price-Butler, 46, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 20, 2023, in Ottawa.

Born on September 28, 1977, in Ottawa, to loving parents Nancy and Edward. He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his dad, brother David, stepmom Kathy, God parents Kathy and Michel Plante, Aunts, Uncles and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.   

He will be profoundly missed by his God daughter Kadreya, and best friends, Simone, Angela, and Cornelia, who will cherish his memory.

Scott led a remarkable life, characterized by his incessant need for culture and travel. He will be remembered for his ability to make those around him laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.  The loss of Scott leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his presence.

A Funeral Service will be held at Parkdale United Church (429 Parkdale Avenue) on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11:00am.

A procession from the church to Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Road) for burial will follow. 

A memorial reception will be held in the spring, until then, we encourage you to celebrate Scott in a way that would have made him happy.
