Obituary of Faye Mcdonna Corrigan
Surrounded by the love of her family, Faye passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the age of 82. Best friend and devoted wife of 63 years to Norris Corrigan. Loving mother to Stephanie Richardson (Luke) and Stephen Corrigan (Natalie). Cherished Nana to Morgan Richardson (Garrett Breton), Kyle, Trenton, and Justina Corrigan, and her angel in heaven, Daron Richardson. Predeceased by her parents, Harold and Lois McCoy, her sister June Orr (late Garnet), and brother Frank McCoy (Donna). Survived by her sisters Joan Orr (late Cecil) and Marleen Corrigan (late Donald), and brother William McCoy (Dorothy). Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Grace Angus (late Earl) and Winnifred Pirie (late George), brother-in-law Lawrence Corrigan (Ester), and many nieces and nephews.
Faye was a busy, working mom of two, having a long and outstanding career with Bell Canada, BNR, and Nortel. At home, she loved a good party and enjoyed entertaining like no other. Many enjoyed her legendary Sunday night dinners that included more dishes than could fit the table and the biggest platter of homemade cookies that you have ever seen. When the kids grew up and time permitted, she and Norris packed their bags and travelled with friends and family to countless destinations all around the world. Faye had an incredible life, a great career, a beautiful home, and well-travelled luggage. But her most prized possessions were her five grandchildren, so proud and bursting with love for each and every one of them.
