Obituary of Denis Menard Sr.

We are devastated to announce the sudden passing of Denis Menard Sr. on February 28, 2024 at the age of 74. Born in Ottawa on May, 9 1949 to Alfred & Jeannette Menard. Loving husband of Dolly (Vera), Father of Denis Jr. & wife Angela, Daughter Chantal, Grandfather to Mercedes, Dakota, Max, Emma & Lilly, Great-grandfather to Blaise. 

Anyone who knew Denis knew that he loved his family above all else! He was an employee of Canada Post for 57 years, he loved his job and was proud to call himself a letter carrier. He was a proud member of the Army/Navy League and loved volunteering his time for such a worthy organization.  Brother of Fred & Lucy, Estelle (deceased) Bob & Angela, Peter (deceased) Johnny, Elaine & Dennis. Numerous brother & sisters in laws, nieces & nephews. 

Visitation will be held at the Pinecrest VIsitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road on Tuesday, March 5th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00pm.  A memorial service will be held in the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel on Wednesday, March 6th at 2:00pm.  Follwing the service a celebration of life will be held at the Army/Navy League in Carleton Place from 4 - 7pm.
