Obituary of Claude Oscar Paradis

Dec 23, 1940 - Mar 27, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Claude Paradis on March 27, 2024, at the age of 83.  Claude was the beloved husband of Irene (Markwick), devoted stepfather to Jason Markwick (Trina Fraser), cherished and proud Grandpa to Daxton and Emmerson (Emmy) Markwick.  Besides his immediate family, Claude is survived by his sister Monique (Donald Burd), brother in-law Brian Markwick of Winchester & sister-in-law Diane Fitzgerald of Ottawa as well as many nieces and nephews.

Claude is predeceased by his parents, Alice Gosselin & Oscar Paradis his sisters Lise and Micheline & his brother Richard Paradis, as well as his brothers -in-law Milton (Mark Markwick) and George Markwick.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 20 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 153 Woodroffe Avenue, Ottawa, ON at 11:00 am, followed by a reception in Our Lady of Fatima Church Hall.
