Obituary of Elena Giustiniani
Peacefully, on March 28, 2024, Elena Giustiniani (nee Buro), predeceased by her dear husband Felice of over 63 years, leaves behind her beloved children and grandchildren. Amazing mother to Antonio, Maddalena (late Eric) and Umberto. Loving and fiercely proud Nonna to Erica, Antonio and Ethan, always showering them with loving attention and words of wisdom.
Cherished daughter of the late Umberto and late Ida. Beloved sister to late Michele (late Michelina), late Maria (late Angelo), late Nina (late Ferruccio) and Pasqualina (Enrico), sister-in-law to Luisa (late Giovanni). She was loved and will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Elena was a beautiful person. As a young woman Elena immigrated to Canada, without any family of her own, and worked tirelessly to create a lovely home and family. As the heart and strength of the family, she was a devoted wife and incredible mother and Nonna. Her love and pride of family shone through in the manner she raised her children, cared for her grandchildren, took care of her husband, prepared such wonderful meals and passed along her cherished traditions.
Elena was grateful for each day and brought joy to others with her generous heart and friendly nature. Always elegant, Elena had a flare for design and good taste which reflected in her home, garden and dressmaking. She had a unique ability to make everything she touched beautiful.
In her final days Elena was surrounded by those she loved the most, her children and grandchildren. Always having taken care of others, Elena was showered with the love and care of her family as she had given them all their lives.
Words cannot express how much she will be missed by her children and grandchildren. A terrible void is left without her. She is forever a blessing.
