I was shocked and saddened to hear of Tom's passing. He and I were both members of Gordon Walker's PLAN network in Vancouver back in the 1990's, which was group of volunteers established to help Gordon live independently as an adult with special needs. Tom was always thoughtful and attentive to Gordon and generally a good guy. Although I hadn't spoken to Tom in person in sometime, I always enjoyed his facebook posts and was happy that there were people like him in the world. I will miss him. My thoughts are with his family.
