My heart felt condolences goes out to Steve and all of Annette’s family. I first met Annette last summer at my sister Maria‘s outdoor pool where they lived. She was a lovely and vibrant and friendly lady who is beautiful inside and out. And of course with amazing hair. I had brought my handicapped cousins to the pool and she was so kind and generous to them and surprised them with gifts and made them jump for joy. I last saw Annette at the Cancun airport this past January where she greeted me with a big hug and wished me a great time on my Mexican vacation. I never thought that would be the last time I would see her. So saddened to hear of her passing…She will be truly missed and I am very grateful to have met such a lovely person. Sending all of her family strength and comfort during this most difficult time …

I have fond memories of Harry and Dora Nooyen, from St. Catherine’s Church in Metcalfe. Dora always had such beautiful hair, and it was on a trip to Quebec City that I met Annette, the faithful daughter, who each weekend tended to her beautiful mother.
What a loving and heartfelt gesture! Sincere condolences to Annette’s family. Sending love and prayers to comfort you in your time of loss.

It is with shock and sadness that we learned of Annette’s passing. Annette’s family and ours go back many years to when we were children growing up in Marvelville; our parents were neighbours and good friends. I used to babysit Annette and already then we would spend hours working with hair and talking about makeup. I will always remember her as someone who embraced life fully, accepting both good times and challenges with courage and optimism. Her smile could light up a room and it was impossible not to share in her exuberance and laughter.
To Steve, Peter, Paul and all her family we extend heartfelt condolences. May the many memories you hold give you strength as you begin the healing journey.

To Steve, Peter and Paul…and all the family. We are heartbroken at the passing of our beautiful and gentle Annette. Our lives together in Marvelville hold cherished memories that we will carry forever. We had the opportunity to visit with Annette and Steve this past February at our home in Cancun. I’ve never seen Annette so radiant and full of joy, loving life to its fullest. She shared with me in a quiet moment that meeting Steve and their life together was the best thing that ever happened to her. I have to agree. When God came to take her home, he took an angel. Annette was the epitome of grace, class and love. I know that I will carry her light with me as will all of us whose lives she touched. We will miss you Annette, but we will meet again. Much love and strength to you Steve and family.

We met Annette 9 years ago when she stopped by our Cabana on an Acapulco beach and asked if my husband Jack played golf and could join Steve who had been playing alone all week. It was one of the best decisions Jack ever made- What followed was 9 years of annual fun filled trips to Acapulco and later to Puerto Vallarta with Annette and Steve- She was always upbeat, cheerful, fun, and willing to explore.
We will miss her infectious smile, great dinners, and conversations
We are the better for knowing Annette.
May she rest in peace

My deepest condolences to Steve and to Steve and Annette’s family. Annette was so beautiful. So caring, loving, and supportive of her family members and friends. A shiny, bright light has passed through our world and her brightness touched all who met her.
Steve, you were the love of her life. Her light will continue to shine as she begins her next journey surrounded by the love of family members and friends who have passed before her. I will miss her kindness, her fun loving nature and the twinkle in her eyes when she laughed. Her laughter filled a room. She was so loved by so many,
Dear Annette, until we meet again

My sincere condolences to Steve and to Annette's entire family. I only met Annette four years ago, but her warmth and caring were evident from the very beginning. (I often described her as the "beating heart" of our condo.) Her strength and courage were certainly evident at the end. RIP dear, sweet, courageous soul. Fly with the butterflies.
Sadly, Nancy Hanna
