Obituary of Jane Colautti

February 10, 1954 - July 19, 2024

Predeceased by her parents, Nadine and Jack. Survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, brother, and his family.

After a hard-fought battle with cancer, Jane Colautti passed away peacefully surrounded by what mattered most to her, her family and dear friends.

Jane was a loving wife, mother, grammie and friend. Married to Garry, her high school sweetheart, for more than 40 years, they built a life together filled with love, travel, and non-stop banter.

Jane’s greatest pride were her two children, Andrew (Laura) and Alexandra (Dave). She was a dotting Grammie to three grandchildren, Eliana, Gemma and Weston. She was as eager to spoil them as to brag about how beautiful, smart, and talented they are. She loved them dearly.

Jane greatly cherished her friendships, many formed while training and working as a nurse.

Jane’s family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support they have received. The stories, kind words and prayers are a testament to the impact she had on all those she met. Not a day went by when Jane’s wit didn’t have her family and friends roaring with laughter.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 25 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at Pinecrest Cemetery located at 2500 Baseline Road. A private interment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider making a donation to the Ocular Oncology Fund through the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or Wheels of Hope through the Canadian Cancer Society.
