Obituary of Chiu Hung Wong

With great sadness, we announce the sudden loss of Chiu Hung Wong on August 1, 2024, aged 86. Her passing leaves a remarkable legacy of kindness, generosity, and service. Chiu Hung was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and devoted wife whose love, strength, and support formed the heart  of the family. She was a beloved teacher and colleague.  Countless friends were gifted with her warmth and caring.

She is greatly missed by her husband Loon Wai Wong, her children, Anne (Thomas, dec.), Edna (Terry), Eleana (Darren), Helen (Rob), Judy (Somsay), Nancy (Brian), Gavin (Emi) and 16 cherished grandchildren.

Visitation  will take place at 11 am on Thursday August 8, 2024 at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, Ont. K2C 3H9. Funeral Service will be held from 12-1 pm followed by Internment and Reception.
