Obituary of Jane Mulder
It is with deep sadness and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Jane Mulder, who left us peacefully on September 13, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on April 5, 1960, Jane was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and a beloved friend to many.
Jane is survived by her adoring husband, Harry Mulder; her children, Devin Mulder, Sheena Mendonca (Dan), and Brianna Mulder (Jason); and her beloved grandchildren, Keira, Austin, Caelan, and Nicky. She is also remembered fondly by her mother, Bertha Vermeer (predeceased by Ben Vermeer); her siblings, Denise Vermeer (Denis) and Albert Vermeer (Christina); her mother-in-law Gerry Mulder (predeceased by John Mulder); her brother-in-law, Henry Mulder (Joyce); and her sister-in-law, Judy Kuipery (Eric), along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Barrhaven Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 3058 Jockvale Road, Nepean, ON. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., also at Barrhaven Fellowship Christian Reformed Church.
Jane was known for her unwavering faith and commitment to her community. Her warmth and generosity were evident in every aspect of her life, particularly through her leadership in the GEMS program at Barrhaven Fellowship Christian Reformed Church. For many years, Jane dedicated herself to guiding young girls, imparting to them the values of faith, kindness, and resilience.
