Ken was a cherished friend for over 40 years. I first met him socially on the downtown bus from Blackburn Hamlet and a few years later I worked with and for him. I agree entirely with the perceptive sentiments expressed in his obituary. I would also add that I particularly appreciated his openness and honesty which made him an effective moral leader and treasured companion, as well as his sense of humour which could clear away the occasional dark cloud. I fondly recall my last coffee with him this past spring: he left me smiling once again, something I will remember as long as memory endures.
My condolences to his family and his friends. He will indeed be missed.
