Obituary of Mary Margaret Muldoon

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Margaret Muldoon on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. She was surrounded by her son, her loving family and her forever friends. Preceded in death by her husband Raymond Sally, as well as by her sister Sharon Nolan (late Tim Nolan). She was the daughter of the late Kathleen (Whalen) & Dennis Muldoon.

She will be deeply missed by her son Matthew Roy (Simona) as well as her granddaughters (Izabella & Sasha Roy) of Calgary, her sisters Barbara Gibeau (late Norman Gibeau), Shirley Lavergne (John Lavergne), Gwen Baldwin (Andrew Baldwin), and her brother Richard Muldoon (Pauline Muldoon) and many loving nieces, nephews and her forever friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Tuesday November 5, 2024, from 10 a.m.to 12 pm. A private burial service will be held at a later date.

Mary loved people & was at ease with anyone, loved travelling & travelled plenty, loved playing cards, bingo & casinos, loved shopping but most of all loved her family & friends whom she supported unconditionally. She lived her life to the fullest, on her own terms, spreading love and kindness everywhere she went. Her nieces and nephews will always remember her words of wisdom “to have a good friend, you need to be a good friend”.
