Obituary of Alberico Di Franco

Alberico  passed away peacefully at The Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus on Friday, November 15, 2024 at  the age of 97.  Beloved husband of Giuseppina (née Di Franco) for 72 years.

Loving father of Rosetta (Giuseppe Giammaria), Pasquale (Luisa Versolato) and Carlo (Line D’Amour).  Cherished grandfather of Roberto (Erin), Sandro (Amy), Daniele (Emily), Marco (Jasmine) Katia (Mike) Gian Luca (Gabrielle) and Massimiliano.  Great Grandfather to Roman, Leonardo, Matteo, Mila and Léo.

Loving brother of Olivetta (deceased), Brother-in-law to Romano(deceased) Lucia (deceased).  Roberto (deceased) Amelia, Antonio (Irene).

He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins in Canada, Italy and the US.

Predeceased by his parents Olimpio Di Franco and Maria Di Franco (née Bevilacqua).

Friends are invited to Cole Funeral Services at Pinecrest Cemetery, Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 7 to 9 pm, and Friday, November 22, 2024 from 12 noon. Liturgy of the Word Service to be celebrated in the Chapel at 1 pm. Entombment to follow Pinecrest Cemetery.
