Obituary of Frederick Lord

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frederick Lord on November 29, 2024 at the age of 92. Son of the late Frederick Needham Lord & Anna (nee Ellison). Beloved husband of Rita (nee Clarkson), his wife of 68 years.  Loving Father of Michael (Marie), Martin (Micheline), Kevin (Brenda) and Peter. Cherished grandfather of Sarah, Cara Rebecca, Matthew and Alexandra.  Frederick was an avid Senators fan and he and Rita were award winning ballroom dancers for many years.  They both enjoyed traveling and visiting Europe each summer.

Visitation will be held at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 10am until the time of the service in the Chapel at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
