My sincere condolences to Ian's whole family.
I have known Ian since the later 70s, and he was for me one of those one or two friends in your life where gaps in time are insignificant, where one can count on that person completely and without hesitation if in need, and it was just a pleasure to exchange opinions, often strong ones. He never even chastised me when I bounced him off the inside of my truck windshield crashing it into a tree after losing brakes. And I found, always, no matter the situation he looked at the positive side..
I'll really miss him. .

To Faith, Greg, Alan, Elzbieta, Doug, Ana, Melissa & Kristin,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Ian.
I have many fond memories of Ian & the McLaren family growing up on Parkmount Cres.
Playing touch football on our front lawns. Endless games of ball hockey on Parkmount & tobogganing at Bruce Pit.
