My husband, Tom, and I were devastated to hear of Elizabeth’s passing. We met Elizabeth and Tad when they would come to the Adirondack Mountains each year and stay in one of our cabins. That was thirteen years ago now. We become friends and would enjoy spending time together. I was asked to join her and two other dear friends of hers to do a trek in the Andes Mountains in Bolivia. What a incredible trip. I will miss her terribly. She was a great lady who shared her love of life with passion.

I cannot believe the news. Elizabeth came on two tours to Bolivia. We trekked o era the Andes and she demonstrated her will and courage. We became friends on the first trek on Cordillera Real. She helped me with the PTSD I did not know I had after one of my clients died of a heart attack on a far away glacier in New Zealand. I am very sorry for the loss.
